Livestock Cooling Systems

The climate control for the Livestocks, Animal Cattle Farms and Stables is an important aspect to guarantee animal / Poultry bird’s wellness.

Efficient climate controls help farming operations reduce overheat and increase profitability. Misting systems ensure that your facilities retain an appropriate climate providing maximum comfort for your animals (cooling for poultry foggers, buffalo, cows, pigs, chickens, horses).

Poultry foggers climate control – High Pressure Fogging / Misting System

Misting / Fogger provide heat stress relief for all categories of poultry foggers. Mortality is dramatically reduced. Stress-free broilers continue to eat and grow. Layers produce more eggs. Breeders are more active and produce higher quality eggs.

Cattle climate control High Pressure Fogging / Misting System

Cattle are also subject to heat stress. This condition can affect milk production, weight gain and breeding cycles. The misting systems help to reduce temperatures and at the same time drive cows to eat more and produce more milk.

Horse climate control – High Pressure Fogging / Misting System

Horses are often kept inside barns which may be substantially hotter than outside temperatures due to radiant heating of the structure.

Despite their ability to sweat, horses still have difficulty cooling themselves when temperatures become extreme. Because of their large size, their body heat tends to accumulate faster than they can get rid of the excess. Especially in conditions of high humidity, when sweat no longer evaporates to cool the skin, horses are prone to heat exhaustion and heat stroke, which can be extremely dangerous.

Misting System Benefits In Horses Stables

Misting system, when installed in a barn, introduces a steady supply of water to the air in the form of ultra-fine droplets which evaporate before they hit the ground. A correctly installed misting system creates a curtain of mist, which can reduce temperatures in the immediate area (depending on the outdoor temperature and relative humidity).

The best results from a misting system are achieved when the mist is produced in an area which already has good airflow.

Many people like to install a line of misting nozzles just under the eaves of the barn. In alternative the misting fans are a “cool” alternative. The use of misting fans help to guarantee a good airflow index.

Birds and animals, like humans, are happier and more productive when comfortable. Misting reduces heat stress and increase productivity.

  • Poultry Foggers provides heat stress relief for all categories of poultry.
  • Mortality is dramatically reduced. Stress-free broilers continue to eat and grow. Layers produce more eggs.
  • Breeders are more active and produce higher quality eggs. In the hog world, Poultry Foggers increases the farrowing sow’s appetite, which improves eggs production.
  • This, in turn, boosts the litter weight at weaning, increases the size of future litters and allows the sow to go back into heat quicker. Cool conditions increase sex drive and sperm count, as well as sexual development.

  • More Eggs
  • More Health
  • More Weight
  • More Stress-free broilers
  • Less Bird Loss

The system cools the inhabitants without creating a wet environment in poultry shed.

Easy installation, minimum maintenance and low energy consumption. There are many proven cost-effective uses for evaporative cooling that make it the preferred choice. The installation and operating cost of Misting Systems can be much lower than traditional air conditioning.

Less expensive to install

Estimated cost for installation is 1/8 to 1/2 that of refrigerated air conditioning.

Less expensive to operate

Estimated cost of operation is 1/4 that of refrigerated air. Power consumption is limited to the fan and water pump vs. compressors, pumps, and blowers.

Fresh air

The constant stream of air from intake to vent through the building freshens the air in the building.

  • Increases egg, milk, and meat production
  • Reduces animal heat stress
  • Reduces water and energy consumption
  • Extends breeding period and growth rate
  • Results in cleaner, drier surroundings
  • Dust suppression and Odor control

How Poultry Foggers Works

There are two types of cooling systems: (i) Air cooling system and (ii) Water-cooling system. In this type of cooling system, the heat, which is conducted to the outer parts of the engine, is radiated and conducted away by the stream of air, which is obtained from the atmosphere.

Fogger System consists of a high pressure pump, pipe line, fogger nozzles and timer unit. Water is sprayed in the form of very fine mist, some of which evaporates by the time it reaches the ground in process absorbing the heat in the atmosphere, and the balance is effective in surface cooling of birds.
